Oh Good Lord,

Now, it's been FOREVER since I've posted so I don't expect a lot of you to still be reading this...

I'm not a religious person really, I do believe that there's something else out there, therefore, I'm wondering why?

Why am I alone? Why can't I find a nice guy? Why do skeeze bags always try to hit on me?

Now I am in University, the University of Western Ontario to be exact. Now those of you from Canada will know exactly what I'm talking about when I say this is a wild school. Those of you from outside of Canada, or who are not aware of my schools reputation, we are the party school of Canada.


Don't get the wrong impression, I mean, I love my school. We have insane school spirit, see our homecomings each and every year along with every football game. The Western Mustangs pretty much thrive on school spirit and the purple and white never fail to impress, even on regular school days.

On the contrary, we are the party school of all party schools, and it gets ridiculous. Soo much fun; this is the epitome of the University/College experience. But getting back to my miserable point, the guys mostly have one intention and one intention only: to hook up with girls.

I like to have fun, I like to go out with my friends and have a good time at the bars dancing because all though this school is a party school, the academics are fully up to par and we students need some way to release our stress, believe me, I have two exams this coming Saturday; a 4 hour business exam followed by a psych exam an hour after. I need a fun night out.

The guys here are either super nice and taken or super nice and gay (no homophobia here my friends, I love my gay guy friends). All the other schools hate Western because we are a cocky school. I'm totally not going to lie. This is because we do have one of the better football teams in Canada and Western Mustangs tend two own many many sports, so we do have a reason to be cocky; were not just doing it for fun. Also, we have a rep of being a good-looking school. Which brings me back to categorizing the guys: sexy.

Super sexy. But dicks. Super sexy, nice face, nice bod, nice hair, but total jerks, because they know how good looking they are. I've literally heard the same damn pick up like a solid 20, 30 times; it's getting a little old.

BASICALLY, if you didn't come from high school with a boyfriend, slim pickens you'll find one here.

So again, why am I alone? I'm not shy, but I'm definately not an "easy" girl, that's for sure, because if I was, I wouldn't be writing this post.

So if you're out there, anyone, please send me a nice boy, I'm getting more and more depressed seeing my roomates with their boys in love. It's rough. All joking aside, I just want someone to care for my the way I see their boys care for them, is that honestly too much to ask?

Google Doodle

now as you all have probably seen or have yet to see today, google has a new doodle.

however, its not representing an event, holiday or famous birthday, if you click on the link it brings you to a general search of unexplained phenomenon

basically, wtf could be the general response to this unexplained phenomenon.

typically when you hover the google doodle it will tell you why it is the way it is, today; nothing.

google has their way of making the world question things, and we now know that google has power over conversation and news by simply changing the appearance of the doodle.

way to go google, you keep us guessing everyday

A Giggle

soo just a quick gigle since i havent posted in a while and it comes from the movie Madagascar 2: Escape to Africa

my favortie character, king julian, never fails to grace us with his hilarious comments and care-free behaviour, i can never get enough of this adorably witty lemur's voice and the outlook he gives everyone in the movie

"if i, king julian, thats my name, only had two days left to live.. i would do something that i always wanted to do. like, become a professional whistler... i mean im pretty amazing at it now but i want to get like, even bettter."

he can always make me laugh, as well as one of my best friends who can quote him to perfection

everyone watch this movie over and over because the children's story mixed with comedy for adults will keep you laughing for days

What i dont understand...

is why people who are tall and skinny are considered pretty

like i know that theres been talks lately about how big is beautiful and companies like dove are promoting every body type there is in the world - and i love that fact

but yet, we still see stereotypes, well still see skinny, we still see not real

now personally i would call my body average or athletic because im a competitive dancer and of course i have my own body issues

but dont call me a hypocrite quite yet because my body issues are in my own head, not because i want to look like what i see on the front of a magazine, but because i want to feel comfortable with myself, but i would never go to the risk of anything dangerous like starving myself to create my dream body, i mean come on, im a dancer and aside from popular belief, we looooveee to eat

personally, i dont think extra skinny is attractive, i do think that shape is attractive and makes women absolutely gorgeous, especially if they feel comfortable about their body

one thing that isnt attractive on a man however, is a beer belly lol, sorry boys but thats my preference

so honestly people STOP COMPARING YOURSELVES and as cliche as it sounds, confidence is beauty, and this issue is especially harsh on teenage girls, and being one, i would know

and for parents, DO NOT pressure your teen girl, or booy for that matter, into talking to you about issues like this, they will come if they want to talk

Twilight.. Nuff Said

im sure you're all aware of the twilight phenomenon sweeping not only the nation, but the entire globe, if youre not.. literally have you been living under a rock... in the middle of the ocean... at the deepest point.... with no view of sunlight......... really
now before i actually began reading the books, i really didnt see what all the hussle and bussel was about, but then.. everything changed
i read twilight and was automatically drawn in deeper and deeper with every action, romance or comedy appearance within these books
took me just about two weeks to finish all four.. and thats saying a lot considering I DONT READ
the only time i read, was when school assignments forced me to and ive never actually completed a book over 100 pages for pleasure.. let alone 4 books all over 400 pages each.. breaking dawn reaching almost 800 pages alone
as much as this is a fad.. you WILL NOT UNDERSTAND UNTIL YOU ACTUALLY READ THEM
honest to god, i was in the same boat as you if you havent read them, but it just an amazing place to get away from the world

stephanie meyer both somewhat ruined and drastically enlightened my life
i am seriously having trouble dealing with the fact the edward cullen is a fictional charater... she made him every girls dream guy and ive lost track of how many times ive read the twilight saga now, but every time it still gets me.. i now compare every guy to edward cullen
pathetic, i know.. but it helps me believe in true love and that there is someone out there for everyone in the world.. and as much as it sucks that this story is fictional,
it makes us able to believe in true love, even if its just for the hour youre sitting reading the book

........that being said im going CRAZY waiting for november 20th.. the release date of new moon in theatres.. anyways if you havent had the priviledge to read it.. try it for yourself, youve got nothing to lose!!

Oh, Yea, Hey There

Hey Everyone!

So im not exactly sure how many people will actually read this, but i feel the need to clear my thoughts and what better way to do it than to a huge mass or randoms!? Btw, im not about to use all the apostrophes, captials or proper grammar that an english teacher would simply drool over, so get over it and enjoy :)

To start, id just like to say that this isnt your everyday blog and - besides the fact that im not 100 percent sure what an "actual" blog consists of - you should NOT expect the cheesy fashion blog containing the latest trend that makes you choose between that fabulous gucci change purse or rent for the next month.. ill tone it down to the level that most people in this world understand and i have three words for all you women out there that you should LIVE by:

need or REALLY need.

And as much as every one of you ladies has you shoe budget for the year, just remember one thing, you can never EVER have enough shoes, so thats always considered a really need :)
